About The Position

As an Auto Care Advisor, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment helping customers, solving problems, and recommending suitable products and services while balancing multiple priorities. The position involves understanding customers’ automotive needs, providing guidance, arranging service appointments, preparing estimates, and explaining recommended services, costs, and payment options. The Auto Care Advisor also promotes automotive products and services, maintains product and basic maintenance knowledge, and supports Auto Care Center events and initiatives while helping ensure services are completed accurately and to a high standard.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a customer-focused role.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an auto service or mechanical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand their automotive needs and provide knowledgeable guidance.
• Recommend products and services suited to customers’ vehicles and situations.
• Schedule service appointments and prepare estimates.
• Clearly explain recommended services, costs, and payment options.
• Promote and sell tires, parts, accessories, and automotive services based on customer needs.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive products, services, and basic maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and battery installation.
• Support Auto Care Center events, promotions, loyalty programs, and other Fleet Farm initiatives.
• Help ensure services are completed accurately and to a high standard.
