About The Position

The Auto Product Training and Certificate Manager oversees training on Toyota and Lexus vehicles for dealership staff, manages the certification program, and serves as a subject matter expert on vehicle product information and technology. The role plans and delivers new-model launch training, provides ongoing product and technology training, develops training materials, supports dealerships and Product Managers with product-related questions, and builds dealership sales-team knowledge. The position is with Servco, a mobility solutions company with more than 2,000 team members. The stated pay range is $82,700 to $125,740 per year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Business, or Engineering.
• Minimum of four years of automotive industry work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent teamwork, organizational, and strategic-planning skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience working in a supervisory capacity.
• One year of experience working as a trainer.
• ASE Certification.
• Proficiency with Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute new-model launch training so employees understand new models’ features, specifications, benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Provide continuous product and technology training throughout the year to new and existing employees on the Toyota and Lexus model lineup.
• Develop relevant training materials and distribute them to dealership and sales staff.
• Attend manufacturer training to serve as the Product Expert for the Toyota and Lexus vehicle lineup.
• Provide dealerships and Product Managers with accurate and timely answers to product information and technology questions.
• Develop and maintain a sales consultant certification program for dealership staff.
• Track training-class attendance for dealerships and staff.
• Work with dealers to build a knowledgeable sales team.
