About The Position

The APD Adjuster investigates and settles physical damage claims arising from rental vehicle accidents, including damage to rental vehicles, third-party vehicles, and property. The role determines coverage, liability, and value, and aims to close each file quickly, fairly, and with clear documentation. The position involves managing claims from first notice of loss through closure, reviewing coverage and rental program terms, evaluating vehicle damage, negotiating settlements, and handling related expenses and recovery opportunities. The role also requires timely, accurate file documentation and compliance with state regulations, client instructions, and service standards. This is a 100% remote, home-based role. The company describes its remote-first culture as focused on empathy, transparency, and empowerment, and says it aims to reduce administrative work and improve longstanding challenges in the adjuster role.
