Auto Parts Warehouse Worker (11am Start)

About The Position

LKQ Corporation is seeking a motivated Auto Parts Warehouse Worker to support warehouse shipping and receiving operations. Duties may include processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving warehouse stock. The role may involve operating manual or powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The position has an 11 a.m. start time.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
Ability to follow standard procedures and clear directions for simple, repetitive problems, with guidance and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods.
Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and assume awkward positions; work may involve hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment, PPE, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior experience with powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts or order pickers.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound products and put them away in designated locations.
Pick or pull the correct products from appropriate locations and deliver them to the staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products in and around the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
