About The Position

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor / Parts Counter Person to join their growing parts and service team. This role involves assisting customers and technicians with parts requests, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the parts department runs efficiently. The company is a large, third-generation, family-owned dealership group with a strong presence in the Delmarva region, emphasizing integrity, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of automotive parts experience preferred
• Dealership or retail parts experience is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership systems
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, stock, and bill automotive parts
• Assist retail customers and service technicians with parts requests
• Maintain organized inventory and accurate parts records
• Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment
• Coordinate parts pickups and deliveries as needed
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and efficient
• Deliver outstanding customer service on every interaction
