About The Position
The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is looking for a motivated Apprentice Automotive Parts Advisor / Parts Counter Person to join our growing parts and service team. You'll receive paid, hands-on training while learning every aspect of a busy dealership parts department with opportunities to grow into a Parts Advisor, Parts Manager, or other leadership roles.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer skills and attention to detail
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays
- Valid Driver's License with good driving record
- High School Diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Automotive parts or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required
- Logistics or inventory experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Learn to order, receive, stock, and bill automotive parts
- Assist technicians and retail customers with parts requests
- Help manage inventory and organize stock
- Answer phones and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist with parts deliveries and pickups
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Learn dealership parts operations from experienced professionals
