About The Position

LKQ Corporation is hiring an Auto Part Warehouse Worker to perform warehouse shipping, receiving, inventory, order-picking, packing, and stock-management duties. The position involves receiving and storing products, picking parts for staging or delivery, and transporting products with manual or powered equipment. The worker maintains an orderly work area and follows company policies and procedures. The role is not responsible for supervising employees. Pay is $19 per hour.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally and write brief messages and keep simple records.
Ability to follow standard procedures and clear directions, using guidance from a supervisor or manager.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles, potentially in awkward positions.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior experience operating PIT equipment, such as a forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
Pick or pull the correct product from the appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products in and around the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Assume other duties as assigned.
