About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with an Auto Painter and support an efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing, as well as maintaining the paint booth and workspace. The role involves repairing vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards, using state-of-the-art equipment.

The position is based at the Service Center Mesa - Gateway. Caliber describes opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a production shop and to grow a career within the company.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience.
• Collision Vo-Tech certification.
