Auto Painter Helper
About The Position
Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper at its Morton service center. The role prepares vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter to support an efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing, as well as maintaining the paint booth and workspace. Helpers repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment. Compensation is up to $18+ per hour/flag hour, depending on experience. The position offers hands-on experience in a production shop and career growth opportunities, with promotions from within.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
- Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous collision experience.
- Collision Vo-Tech certification.
