Auto Painter Helper
About The Position
Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Painter Helper for its Morton Service Center. The role prepares vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter to support an efficient workflow. Duties may include sanding and buffing, as well as maintaining the paint booth and workspace. Helpers are required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards, using state-of-the-art equipment. The position can pay up to $18+ per hour/flag hour, depending on experience. Employees are paid weekly and may be eligible for overtime if hourly. Benefits begin on day one, and the role offers hands-on experience in a production shop and opportunities for career growth.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
- Be able to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Be able to prioritize competing tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous collision experience.
- Collision Vo-Tech certification.
