Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time, experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. This position has a five-day work week and offers hourly pay, rather than flat-rate pay, plus technician commissions based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay ranges from $18 to $24 depending on experience and certifications; commissions are paid every two weeks and range from $400 to $1,400. Hourly compensation and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Technicians may also receive a $500 one-time bonus for certifications earned while employed. The technician maintains and repairs customers’ vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, and completes agreed-upon work. The role also performs regular vehicle maintenance and provides fast, friendly, and professional customer service. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service orientation and attention to detail.
- Troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms.
Responsibilities
