About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for a full-time position in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. The role has a 5-day work week and pays an hourly rate of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate compensation. Technicians also earn commissions paid every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed. The technician diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options to customers, completes agreed-upon repairs, and provides regular vehicle maintenance. The role requires delivering fast, friendly, professional service and helping maintain positive customer relationships. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability.

- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
Responsibilities
