Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is seeking an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician to work full-time in the Murrells Inlet, South Carolina area. The position offers a five-day work week and hourly pay of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales, typically ranging from $400 to $1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed. Atlantic Coast Enterprises (ACE) is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center and a Jiffy Lube franchisee. Its mission is to create customers for life through fast, friendly, clean, and professional service. ACE describes its workplace as supportive and collaborative and encourages employees to share ideas. In this role, you maintain and repair customers’ vehicles, diagnose mechanical problems, explain repair options, and complete agreed-upon work. You also provide regular maintenance services and help deliver fast, friendly customer service. The position requires current AATI or ASE certifications, a valid driver’s license, brake work experience, and your own tools.
