About The Position

FGS is seeking a Glass Technician to join a skilled team focused on craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. The technician installs, repairs, and replaces glass on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment, including vehicles such as mining trucks and commercial vans. The position involves diagnosing damage, recommending solutions, and ensuring work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Technicians may travel to job sites as needed; a company vehicle is provided.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive or heavy equipment glass installation, or a strong desire to learn.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in auto glass installation or repair.
• Experience working with fleet vehicles or construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace windshields and other glass on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose glass damage and recommend appropriate solutions.
