About The Position

Zurich North America Claims is hiring an Auto Claims Specialist. The hybrid work model allows claims employees to perform individual work from a preferred location while supporting in-person connections and collaboration when useful. Occasional in-office attendance should be expected. The selected candidate must be able to report to one of the Addison, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; or Schaumburg, Illinois offices. The role reports to an Auto Claims Team Manager. The position requires obtaining and maintaining required adjuster licenses.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in Claims or Insurance; or a Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice designation, including an associate degree, and at least 2 years of Claims or Insurance experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of Claims or Insurance experience; or completion of the Zurich Claims Training Program and at least 2 years of Claims or Insurance experience.
Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
Microsoft Office experience.
Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
Prior experience in auto claims handling, insurance claims, or a related customer service field.
Understanding of auto insurance policies, coverage, and state regulations.
