About The Position

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Claims Contact Centre as Full-Time Auto Claims Specialist I. In this impactful role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers reporting claims to ICBC. Your empathy and excellent communication skills will be key in supporting customers as they navigate the claims process. You’ll handle tasks such as initiating claim files, gathering first notice of loss information, and resolving straightforward claims at first contact—or directing them to the appropriate team for further assistance. These positions will be located in one of the following offices: Surrey, Vancouver, Chilliwack, Prince George, Kelowna, Kamloops, or Victoria. Candidates may indicate their preferred location(s); however, preferences cannot be guaranteed. Final work location assignments will be determined based on organizational requirement. Our contact centre operates 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday. We assign shifts based on business needs, so flexibility with scheduling is important. This is a mass posting. We anticipate filling potential vacancies throughout the province of British Columbia that arise during the next six (6) months through this mass posting. If the Corporation is unable to fill all vacancies with suitable internal applicants, the remaining will be recruited externally. These positions report to various Managers within the Department. At ICBC, it’s our job to make sure the car insurance system works for all British Columbians, today and in the future. Continue your career as part of our talented and diverse team, as we work together to create an insurance system we can all be proud of.
