About The Position

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Body Shop Technician to support retail and wholesale operations. The role involves repairing, restoring, and refinishing vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The technician will handle a steady workflow from multiple sources and work independently as well as with a team. The technician must provide their own tools.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as an auto body technician or collision repair specialist.
Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to work on multiple vehicles and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Valid driver’s license.
Must have own tools.
Problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Time management and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and rust removal and repair.
Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and minor refinishing.
Collaborate with estimators and parts departments to ensure accurate and timely repairs.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Operate tools and equipment properly and follow safety guidelines.
Communicate progress and issues with supervisors or team members.
