About The Position

Caliber is hiring an Auto Body Technician at its Service Center Northlake. The technician performs collision repairs, including frame and structural work, panel repairs, and quality reassembly, using a precise, no-shortcuts approach. The role involves working with painters, estimators, and front office staff while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Requirements

• At least two years of experience repairing vehicles after collisions.
• Frame and structural repair knowledge, including pulling, straightening, and squaring components.
• A no-shortcuts approach, including blueprinting and completing repairs correctly the first time.
• Strong attention to detail, including careful bolt tightening and welding.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team-first attitude and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint repairs and complete precise collision repairs.
• Perform full collision repair, from fender benders to frame rebuilds.
• Repair panels and structural components to restore them to factory specifications.
• Reassemble vehicles with attention to fit and finish.
• Collaborate with painters, estimators, and front office staff to move vehicles through the repair process.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy, and safe.
