About The Position

Caliber is hiring an Auto Body Technician at its Newport, Oregon service center. The technician performs collision repairs, including frame and structural repairs, panel work, and quality reassembly. The role involves accurately blueprinting repairs, restoring vehicles to factory specifications, and maintaining a clean and safe work area while collaborating with painters, estimators, and front office staff. Requirements

• At least two years of experience repairing collision-damaged vehicles.
• Knowledge of frame and structural repair, including pulling, straightening, and squaring.
• Commitment to completing repairs correctly the first time and attention to detail, including bolts and welds.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team-first attitude and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certifications.
• ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint and perform precise collision repairs without shortcuts.
• Perform full collision repairs, from minor fender damage to frame rebuilds.
• Repair panels and structural components, returning them to factory specifications.
• Reassemble vehicles with attention to fit and finish.
• Collaborate with painters, estimators, and front office staff to move repairs through the center.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
