About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced Auto Body Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position requires at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to help their skills and pay progress.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy plastic welding.
• Perform minor metal pulling.
• Repair roofs and rocker panels.
• Perform large-area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair.
• Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
• Use required safety equipment.
