About The Position

DARCARS Collision Center of Baltimore is hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to repair damaged vehicle bodies and components according to manufacturer and dealership specifications and time standards. The position involves completing work listed on vehicle repair orders, disassembling and repairing vehicles, supporting parts and materials sourcing, meeting productivity requirements, and maintaining tools and equipment. The technician must follow applicable federal, state, and local body shop regulations, including requirements for hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently.
Team-oriented, with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Must pass pre-employment screening, including a background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive or collision repair experience.
CSI and quality scores above the regional average.

Responsibilities

Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards.
De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail.
Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials.
Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements.
Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by a supervisor.
