About The Position
Crash Champions is hiring an Auto Body Technician Helper to assist lead body technicians with collision repair work. The role includes tearing down vehicles, removing damaged components, helping evaluate damage, installing new parts, organizing parts for repair orders, and assisting with light body work. The position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with flag pay guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements for all hours worked each week. The posted compensation range represents average flag pay for a typical full-time employee.
Requirements
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours a week.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly position or move oneself to repair vehicles over and under them.
- Ability to communicate effectively and take direction from superiors.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead body technicians with 100% tear down.
- Remove damaged components and assist in evaluating damage.
- Assist with installation of new parts.
