About The Position

The Shop Manager will be a leader in control of every aspect of their own building. The role requires a hands-on, eyes-on-production mindset, partnering with an Office Manager to ensure excellent communication and a positive team culture. The Shop Manager will be responsible for quality control, safety standards, and ensuring all necessary leases, licenses, and permits are current. This role involves interviewing, selecting, and training employees, utilizing various management and estimating systems, and understanding business financials to meet goals. Extensive training in each department will be provided to ensure a thorough understanding of all facets of the business before taking on full Store Manager responsibilities.

Requirements

Maintain a Monday – Friday 6:45am - 5:00pm schedule.
Must be able to lift, squat, kneel, bend and manage car parts in excess of 50 pounds.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the auto body / automotive / dealership industry, or relatable field preferred but not required. We will teach and train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Lead from an eyes-on-production mindset.
Partner with an Office Manager to ensure excellent communication from the front door to shop floor.
Implement and hold employees accountable to policies outlined in the B Street Employee Manual.
Identify, create, and maintain a positive culture in the team.
Take part in and ensure quality control checks are completed.
Ensure employees are meeting safety and OSHA standards.
Assure all necessary leases, licenses, and permits are current and in place.
Interview, select, and train employees.
Utilize a variety of management and estimating systems.
Understand business financials and meet financial goals.
Spend time training in each department before taking on Store Manager responsibilities.
