About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced auto body repair technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. Work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process, preparing inspected vehicles for customers. The position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs. Technicians work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be exposed to excessive heat or cold. The role requires operating vehicle equipment and tools, using protective equipment, and lifting up to 60 pounds independently. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
