Entry-level Auto Body Inspector
About The Position
Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Body Inspector to inspect exterior vehicle damage and perform related preparation work, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. The position is based in a high-tech Inspection Center and includes training programs intended to help entry-level employees progress their skills and pay. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (second shift), with possible overtime. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
- Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
- Pass a complete background check.
