About The Position

RSI Community is seeking an Autism Program Coordinator to lead their autism residential program. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on supporting individuals with autism and creating meaningful, person-centered care. The coordinator will spend time in residential homes, build relationships with residents, and coach supervisors and Direct Support Professionals in autism-informed care. They will also learn individual preferences, oversee service delivery and documentation, and collaborate with families, guardians, healthcare providers, and clinical partners.

Requirements

• Qualified Professional (QP) status under 10A NCAC 27G .0104

Nice To Haves

• Experience with autism-specific practices, such as TEACCH or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• A passion for person-centered care, team development, and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Spend real time in our six residential homes, building relationships with the people we support.
• Coach supervisors and Direct Support Professionals in autism-informed, person-centered care.
• Learn each individual's preferences, routines, and communication styles—and help your team do the same.
• Oversee service delivery, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, healthcare providers, and clinical partners.
