About The Position
The Authorization Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and authorizing all imaging referrals for the Network clinics and authorizing surgeries at CRHS for the Network Clinics. Columbus Regional Healthcare System offers professional growth and advancement for every employee.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Clear and pleasant speaking voice with excellent telephone etiquette.
- Computer experience.
- Customer service experience.
Nice To Haves
- Thorough understanding of insurance coverage, including FSC, coverage, and plan types, and Medical Necessity policies.
- Knowledge of medical records software.
