About The Position

The Auditor is responsible for accurately checking and counting inbound and outbound freight. The role ensures products are free of damage and infestation, production code dates are recorded, and order quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing meet customer specifications and other requirements. The Auditor also supports safe warehouse operations, inventory activities, and loading and unloading as needed.

Requirements

• Must meet material handling equipment certification requirements.
• Basic computer skills and basic math skills are required.
• Attention to detail is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of warehousing or material handling experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience in inventory, cycle counting, or a quality department is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count inbound product, compare it with the manifest, and check shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates before storage.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on the appropriate forms and forward them to the appropriate party.
• Sign for inbound shipments or accept signatures for outbound merchandise when requested.
• Check outbound freight as warehouse personnel fill and assemble it.
• Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer orders to ensure shipments are complete and correct.
• Safely operate a forklift or other materials handling equipment as required and assist with loading or unloading merchandise as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Help maintain warehouse security and conduct operations in a way that promotes safety.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
