About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Auditor to check and count inbound and outbound products, verify shipments, and ensure products are free from damage and infestation. The role also ensures production code dates are recorded and that shipment quantity, quality, labeling, and addresses meet customer specifications and other requirements.

The position is on 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., paying $21.35 per hour. Safety and attendance rewards are available. The role may involve physical, hands-on work, including extended periods of standing and walking.

Requirements

• Meet material-handling equipment certification requirements.
• At least six months of experience using a commercial warehouse management system, such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work, including extended periods of standing and walking.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehousing or material-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Count inbound products, compare them with manifests, and check shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates before storage.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms and forward them to the appropriate party.
• Sign for inbound shipments or accept signatures for outbound merchandise when specially requested.
• Check the contents of outbound freight assembled by warehouse personnel.
• Compare shipment quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer orders to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• Safely operate forklifts or other materials-handling equipment as required and assist with loading or unloading merchandise as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Help maintain warehouse security and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
