About The Position

The Auditor checks and counts inbound and outbound products, ensuring shipments are accurate and products are free of damage or infestation. The role verifies that production code dates are recorded and that shipment quantities, quality, labeling, and addresses meet customer specifications. The Auditor also supports warehouse operations, safety, security, and inventory activities.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience using a commercial warehouse management system (WMS), such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP.
• At least one year of experience with Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
• Ability to work in a sometimes physical, hands-on role involving extended periods of standing and walking.
• Must meet materials-handling equipment certification requirements.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehousing or materials-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Count inbound products, compare them with manifests, and inspect shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates before storage.
• Report shortages, damage, and mis-shipments on the appropriate forms and forward them to the appropriate party.
• Sign for inbound shipments or accept signatures for outbound merchandise when specially requested.
• Check outbound freight assembled by warehouse personnel and verify quantity, quality, labeling, and address against customer orders.
• Operate forklifts or other materials-handling equipment safely and effectively as required, and assist with loading or unloading merchandise as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Help maintain warehouse security and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
