About The Position

The Merchandising Auditor reviews vendor agreements and analyzes account activity to verify that Menard, Inc. receives the compensation outlined in vendor agreements. The role maintains audit records, researches vendor account matters, prepares reports on findings and amounts owed, and identifies opportunities to improve audit accuracy and efficiency. The position requires availability to work 40 hours per week and the ability to relocate to Eau Claire.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or an associate degree in Finance or Accounting with 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week.
• Ability to relocate to Eau Claire.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor agreements to ensure compensation terms are accurate and properly recorded.
• Maintain detailed audit records and follow through on findings regarding amounts owed to Menard, Inc.
• Research vendor account matters, including current account balances and detailed account breakdowns.
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings and amounts owed.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit accuracy and efficiency.
