Requirements

Four years of accounting and/or auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or One year of experience as a Financial Programs Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and auditing.
Possession of a valid driver's license.

Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Build Core Knowledge: Develop a strong working knowledge of the functions and operations of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB), as well as auditing practices and office procedures
Conduct Fieldwork: Travel to assignment locations to interview staff, test PLCB procedures, gather and examine documentation, and obtain audit evidence
Analyze Data: Use software tools to gather, interpret, compile, and analyze audit data
Document Findings: Develop written correspondence and reports to effectively communicate work results
Support Compliance: Participate in audit engagements including agreed-upon procedures, performance audits, and financial audits conducted in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and PLCB policies and procedures
