About The Position

The Sales Audit Specialist is responsible for the activities that support the company's sales audit processes. This includes ensuring all sales data is properly reported in the company's ledger; retail store deposit accounts are accurate; and assisting the various stakeholders (stores, accounting, loss prevention, etc.) in issue resolution relating to credit card, gift card, and cash sales transactions. This individual must exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have effective written and oral communication skills. The role is onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Sales Audit, Accounting, Internal Audit, or Retail Point-of-Sale.
  • Experience with relevant software (Aptos Sales Audit preferred); proficiency in Excel required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in an analytical role.
  • Ability to make sound decisions to resolve customer and store inquiries.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette; ability to diplomatically resolve challenging customer situations.
  • Strong written communication skills; ability to be clear and concise via email.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work onsite at our Manhattan Beach, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all sales data is properly reported in the company's ledger.
  • Ensuring retail store deposit accounts are accurate.
  • Assisting various stakeholders (stores, accounting, loss prevention, etc.) in issue resolution relating to credit card, gift card, and cash sales transactions.
