About The Position

We are currently hiring an Audit Senior. This role involves performing and/or overseeing audit and other assurance engagement work for nonpublic clients in various industries. The position requires planning and executing financial statement audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements, as well as preparing and reviewing financial statements. The Audit Senior will also be responsible for identifying and resolving client issues and maintaining active communication with the engagement team and clients to manage expectations, deadlines, and deliverables. Participation in firm activities such as recruiting and in-house training is also expected.

Requirements

• Michigan CPA License
• A minimum of three or more years in public accounting with relevant financial statement audit experience
• Experience and competency in the execution of external audit engagements in accordance with professional assurance standards
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Nice To Haves

• Employee benefit plan audit experience a plus
• Proficiency in Pfx Engagement, and Quickbooks a plus
