About The Position

The Audit & Assurance team provides traditional attestation services, as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. Professionals in this team demonstrate deep specialization through an understanding of market and business challenges their clients face, and a dedication to audit quality. Audit & Assurance is one of Crowe's largest practices. We are looking for Audit Managers with experience in various industry verticals, including Banking, Healthcare, Private Equity, Technology Media Telecommunications, Public Sector, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Real Estate & Construction, Fintech, and Manufacturing. As an Audit Manager, you will learn to lead, gain deep industry insight, and continue to grow relationships. With access to many resources and the support of executive leadership and your team, your work will involve responsibility for client relationships, leading multiple teams, providing performance feedback, anticipating and addressing client concerns, resolving problems, promoting new ideas and business solutions, and staying current with industry developments and firm standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.
  • Experience in external audit working with Banking, Healthcare, Private Equity, Technology Media Telecommunications, Public Sector, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Real Estate & Construction, Fintech, Manufacturing clients.
  • Organization, communication, technical, time management, and accounting and auditing skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently with clients and adequately work on multiple engagements and teams.
  • Ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.
  • Ability to multi-task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.
  • Experience supervising engagement team members and instructing them on completing assigned task.
  • Must be a licensed CPA in your aligned home office state or be able to acquire a reciprocal one for that state.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel to various client sites.

  • Responsibility of client relationships with a variety of clients to build positive relationships.
  • Leading multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members of those teams when engagements end.
  • Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
  • Continue learning the latest developments and the firm's standards and policies.
  • Staying on top of industry developments and their effects on client's competitive position.
