About The Position

The Commercial Services Manager will lead and develop commercial services personnel supporting multiple product lines and order types. This role involves establishing team priorities, performance expectations, and operational accountability standards, as well as supporting hiring, onboarding, employee development, and workforce planning. The manager will oversee daily quote-to-order activities, including quotations, contract reviews, order entry, and order management, coordinating with various internal teams to ensure efficient commercial execution and consistent service levels. Additionally, the role requires monitoring operational KPIs, identifying and implementing process improvements, and ensuring effective utilization of commercial systems while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with company policies. Collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders is key to supporting commercial execution, addressing customer requirements, and resolving issues. The position also supports regional commercial services activities aligned with operational objectives and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM, ERP, and commercial systems platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to interpret commercial terms, customer requirements, and operational workflows.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, commercial operations, quote-to-order, customer service, or related commercial support functions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting sales processes and managing commercial workflows.
  • Experience managing quote-to-order processes within ERP, CRM, or related business systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Sales, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a commercial or operational environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting both spare parts and capital equipment commercial processes preferred.
  • Experience developing operational reports, dashboards, and analytics preferred.
  • Experience implementing or supporting commercial systems, process improvements, or operational transformation initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop commercial services personnel supporting multiple product lines and order types.
  • Establish team priorities, performance expectations, and operational accountability standards.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, employee development, and workforce planning activities.
  • Oversee daily quote-to-order activities including quotations, contract reviews, order entry, and order management.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, and shared services teams to support efficient commercial execution.
  • Ensure service levels, workload distribution, and commercial processes are consistently maintained.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, reporting metrics, and team performance to support business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and customer responsiveness.
  • Support standardization of workflows, systems adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support effective utilization of ERP, CRM, CPQ, and other commercial systems while maintaining data accuracy and operational reporting integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, delegated authority requirements, commercial procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve system functionality, reporting capabilities, and operational visibility.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support commercial execution.
  • Partner with sales and product line teams to address customer requirements, order execution, and issue resolution.
  • Support compliance with NOV quality, health, safety, environmental, and training requirements while promoting safe and consistent workplace practices.
  • Support regional commercial services activities aligned with ISE operational objectives and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate across product lines to ensure standardized commercial execution practices and operational consistency.
  • Support regional growth initiatives through effective commercial support, process efficiency, and customer responsiveness.
