About The Position

The ICE Internship Program provides hands-on work on impactful business projects, along with career and professional development. Interns build professional connections, strengthen interpersonal skills, and participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders. They also connect with fellow interns and learn about the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries.

The Audit Analytics Intern supports the Internal Audit function's analytics tools and dashboards, helping automate data workflows and improve audit coverage and efficiency. The internship is based at the Atlanta office and requires full-time, five-day-a-week availability for the entire duration of one of the designated program schedules. Candidates must choose a preferred session during the application process; partial participation and alternate dates are not accommodated.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be advancing to at least the junior year of study.
• Experience with Python, R, React, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Familiarity with AI/ML or other analytics- and development-related technical skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Interest in audit, risk, or financial services.
• Must be available to work full-time, five days a week, at the Atlanta office for the full duration of one designated program schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support development and automation of audit analytics, including data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for key risk indicators and audit findings.
• Analyze datasets with auditors to identify anomalies, trends, and control gaps.
• Help evaluate emerging analytics and AI tools.
• Support and test an internally built audit project management tool.
• Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned.
