About The Position

The Innovation Intern supports Atlanta Fed projects in data science, process automation, and generative AI, using technology to generate business value. The intern works through the Digital Delivery project pipeline to create prototypes and proofs of concept, and may also contribute to enterprise-scale implementation. The role requires onsite work according to a schedule set by management, with flexibility to balance work and life and collaborate in person. This is a paid, temporary summer internship; summer housing is not provided.

Requirements

Experience or skills with Python or R.
Experience or skills with Tableau or Power BI.
Experience or skills with Power Automate.
Experience or skills with UiPath.
Experience or skills with AWS generative AI tools.
Experience or skills with Copilot Studio.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Comfort working across time zones to complete projects in a timely manner.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without needing visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Must successfully complete required background screening, which may include fingerprinting, criminal background, education and employment verification, credit history, reference checks, and other screening.

Preferred majors: Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Economics, or Software Engineering.
