About The Position

Wipfli is hiring an Audit Intern for Summer 2027. This role requires an in-person work arrangement: full-time interns regularly work five days a week in a Wipfli office or at client sites. Client-site locations may vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on industry alignment, and scheduled meetings at client sites or in the office require in-person attendance. Interns use their educational knowledge and experience to perform accounting-related work and support client engagements. Audit-specific work includes audit, review, and compliance testing procedures in accordance with firm and professional standards and as directed by engagement leaders; communicating about open items and testing issues; preparing or reviewing financial statements, footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputs; and developing technical competency in GAAP, particularly for the assigned product line. The internship offers hands-on audit experience and exposure to related software applications, clients across a range of industries and business sizes, and professionals at different levels of the firm. Interns work both independently and as part of a team and develop administrative, professional, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. The estimated base pay rate is $29.50.
