About The Position

This internship supports cost planning, revenue management, and payroll overtime. The intern assists with financial matters related to reporting, cost monitoring, production reviews, and payroll. The position researches and interprets financial data to provide information to management.

Requirements

• Be a rising college junior or senior, or a recent graduate, in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related program.
• Demonstrate an understanding of basic financial terminology and concepts, such as operating profit/loss and net income.
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Have excellent oral, written, and interactive communication skills.
• Be skilled in effective research tactics and have strong organizational skills.
• Be able to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Be able to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
• Be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze reports comparing actual expenses with planned expenses and determine financial performance.
• Analyze financial trends and determine projected benefits for UPS.
• Meet established deadlines and budgets.
• Assist with projects and project teams as needed.
