About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a talented, self-motivated Audiovisual Designer/Consultant with five or more years of experience to join its Seattle Area team. The role plans and conducts work requiring independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, adapting, and modifying standard audiovisual systems for acoustical environments. The consultant independently performs most assignments with guidance on the general expected results and plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of professional work on major projects or projects of moderate scope. The role may also supervise or coordinate other professionals assisting with specific assignments. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of professional experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Audiovisual Design, or AV integration.
• Degree in Audio Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, IT Networking, Computer Science, or another related field.
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as on teams.
• Positive contributor to office and department goals, culture, and morale.

Nice To Haves

• Limited Energy Electrical License, CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.
• Special licensing, advanced credentials, or other additional certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities
