Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in and have successfully completed at least 2 years in Graduate Audiology Doctoral Program.
  • Capability to perform diagnostic audiological evaluations.
  • Basic knowledge of hearing aids.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • BAHA evaluation/activation/follow ups preferred
  • Cochlear implant evaluation/activation/follow ups preferred
  • Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic testing on pediatrics and/or adults.
  • Proficient in hearing aid evaluations, programming, and checks.
  • Assists within cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations, activations, and follow ups.
  • Performs automated ABR (AABR) and ABR (sedated and non-sedated) testing with the assistance of the Audiologist when needed.
  • Demonstrates advanced problem solving skills in regards to equipment/order processing and making appropriate suggestions for follow up with Audiologists.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
