About The Position

ENT and Allergy Associates is seeking a full-time, licensed Audiologist for its Garden City office. The practice is expanding its audiology staff across New York and New Jersey. The role is suited to a diagnostic and dispensing audiologist who is clinically strong, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well. The Audiologist is expected to counsel patients effectively and build rapport. The position offers opportunities for continuous training, coaching, and development, including paid CEUs, along with access to current fitting processes and industry-leading resources for hearing instruments and services.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Audiology; an Au.D. is preferred.
Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.
Strong clinical skills and ability to counsel patients effectively while building rapport.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.

Nice To Haves

Au.D. degree.
Interest or experience in clinical research.

Responsibilities

Establish rapport with patients and gather their histories.
Conduct audiometric and diagnostic testing.
Counsel patients and recommend hearing aids.
Make ear impressions and ear molds, and order instruments.
Program and fit hearing aids.
Assist patients with adjustments, questions, and problems related to hearing aids.
Maintain documentation and patient files.
Manage the assigned schedule to maximize opportunities to help patients hear.
Support and coach team members to help achieve practice goals and generate opportunities.
