Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist - Portage, MI
About The Position
AudioNova is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide patient-centered hearing care at its Portage, Michigan clinic. The role focuses on assessing patients’ hearing, discussing treatment and hearing instrument options, helping patients use hearing technology, and supporting ongoing product performance and clinic operations. Third- and fourth-year Audiology Externs are also encouraged to apply. The clinic is located at 576 Romence Rd., Suite 121, Portage, MI 49024, and is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The advertised salary is $70,000–$75,000 plus commission. Requirements
- Hearing Aid Dispensing License in the state of Michigan.
- Third- and fourth-year Audiology Externs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Perform patient hearing test assessments, analyze results, and recommend treatment and product options.
- Address patients’ questions and concerns about the benefits of hearing aid use.
- Discuss hearing instrument pricing and explain the value of hearing health care, professional services, and the long-term effects of hearing aid use.
- Conduct community outreach to generate new patient referrals.
- Teach patients how to use new technology to meet their hearing goals.
- Perform hearing aid repairs, checks, cleanings, and adjustments to fitted products.
- Follow company procedural and quality standards to maximize product performance and address patient concerns or objections.
- Work with clinic staff to help ensure smooth office operations.
