About The Position

As we strengthen our Digital Collaboration practice, we are looking for an Entry Level Audio-Visual Technician to join a growing team of technology enthusiasts passionate about building modern collaboration environments. This role involves installing and supporting AV and collaboration systems, helping organizations stay connected, productive, and ready for the future of work. Requirements

  • Interest in audio-visual technology, collaboration systems, or IT infrastructure
  • Basic computer knowledge and comfort learning new technologies
  • Strong willingness to learn and take initiative in a hands-on environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with guidance
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to AV installations, like home theatre, digital signage, or related work is an asset
  • Exposure to basic carpentry or framing is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting or operating control systems is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of audio-visual and collaboration systems in meeting rooms and other technology-enabled spaces.
  • Assist with mounting displays, cameras, and speakers.
  • Support installation of AV equipment racks and associated hardware.
  • Help with pulling, terminating, and testing structured cabling.
  • Assist with basic rack wiring and system connections.
  • Support the setup of video conferencing and collaboration systems.
  • Learn cable labeling standards and help maintain clean wire management.
  • Assist with basic mechanical tasks and equipment placement.
  • Learn to configure and support video conferencing and collaboration systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting basic AV system issues, including control systems and DSPs.
  • Develop foundational knowledge of AV technologies, cabling, and installation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and colleagues.
  • Support a safe and organized worksite environment.
  • Partner with technicians across the country to deliver consistent, high-quality installations.
