Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills, interacting with church body and staff professionally and well spoken
• Technological skills of computer, sound and lighting equipment
• Willingness to learn about sound, lighting and video equipment and software
• The ability to take direction and work with very little supervision
• Flexibility with good time management skills
• Bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Lift, pull, push and/or move up to 75lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of all A/V equipment at the Ft. Lauderdale Campus
• Assist in the set up and running sound and visuals for weekly events including Church Services, Special Events, Ministry Events, funerals, memorials, adult education, women’s ministry, various other church functions throughout the week
• Help train current and new AV volunteers
• Provide education, training and expertise to all audio technicians and volunteers
• Operate, set up, and maintain audio and visual equipment, including projectors, speakers, microphones, and other equipment as needed
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
• Provide technical support
• Help maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs
• Ensure that all audio and visual equipment is up to safety standard
