About The Position

As an Audio Visual Technician at MGM National Harbor, you’ll be the energy behind unforgettable meetings, shows, and experiences. From crisp sound to stunning visuals, you’ll help create “wow” moments our guests will never forget—all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in A/V, production, theater, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down audio, video, lighting, and internet equipment for a variety of events
• Operate A/V equipment for meetings, presentations, and special events
• Support clients by troubleshooting and guiding them in using A/V equipment
• Deliver exceptional guest service by understanding needs and providing solutions
• Transport, handle, and maintain equipment with care and precision
• Operate scissor lifts for equipment setup and breakdown
• Calculate electrical loads and safely work with high-voltage equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and best practices
• Jump in on additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
