About The Position

Responsible for providing direction to Gaming operations for the assigned property, consistent with the MGM Brand. This position will be responsible for leading Poker Room team members in achieving the operational and financial goals of the Poker room, monitoring the performance, scheduling, and training of the staff and ensuring high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams within a similar resort or gaming environment
  • Strong operational understanding of Poker Room functions and guest service standards.
  • Proven success leading high-performing teams, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance within fast-paced gaming operations.
  • Collaborative, guest-focused, and confident in making decisions that enhance both the player experience and business performance.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of prior relevant experience in casino or poker operations is required
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members while fostering a positive and accountable culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide leadership in the development and monitoring of poker room operations, fiscal budgets, guest service standards and labor optimization to produce both short-term and long-term profitability
  • Oversee implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, tournament and limit pricing standards, rules and regulations for all poker room staff, and ensure full compliance
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all poker room operational functions, including tournament play, no limit/high limit/low limit options, mixed game types, and rule interpretation.
  • Collaborate with the Gaming COE to provide input to the property leader with regard to game type and limit/no-limit mix, tournament structures, and appropriate levels of staffing
  • Maintain the highest standards for gaming regulation compliance and ensure compliance of all staff members; strictly abide by state gaming regulations and report issues of non-compliance
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and coach poker room staff for the efficient operation of all related functions.
