About The Position

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking an Audio/Visual Specialist to support a major national laboratory. This role involves setting up and operating production equipment for video streaming and live events in various onsite auditoriums and conference rooms. The specialist will also be responsible for network connections, signal splitting, recording, digital archiving, transcoding, and post-processing of digitized files. Customer interaction during live events and assistance with media library services are key aspects of the position, along with equipment maintenance and updates. The role requires effective teamwork and independent work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

HS in relevant discipline plus minimum 1 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
Must be US Citizen

Responsibilities

Set up and breakdown for video streaming events
Operate production equipment in large auditorium environment (camera, mic, mixer, etc.)
Set up network connection
Use DAs to split signals
Operate computer field recorders
Digitally archive and transcode film and analog/digital video
Create metadata files
Post process digitized files
Directly interact with customers during live streaming events
Provide assistance to media library and archive customers
Assist with equipment updates, configuration, and maintenance
Set up and breakdown for video streaming events when needed
Operate production equipment (camera, mic, mixer, etc.) in various onsite auditoriums
Directly interact with customers during live streaming and auditorium events, and large VTC and Teams meetings
Work effectively with team members and independently with minimal supervision
Live Events, Video Production, Recording and Presentation Streaming in both Auditorium and Conference room Environments.
