We're looking for an experienced AV Project Manager for our Washington, D.C. branch who embodies our mission: “to provide a fantastic customer experience.” We need a dynamic, highly organized self-starter who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done on time. You'll handle all aspects of AV integration projects, excel at delegating responsibilities, and possess top-notch communication skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing commercial AV integration projects, developing strategies, and coordinating resources, required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in maintaining accurate project documents and client updates, required.
  • Experience in leading teams, including training and performance management, required.
  • Hands-on experience with AV installations and providing creative solutions, required.
  • Ability to track and improve performance metrics, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget goals, required.
  • Up to 25% travel required for client meetings and on-site technical staff guidance.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate's degree is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve project goals, ensuring seamless AV integration.
  • Schedule all necessary corporate services and labor resources, including programming, touch panel wizardry, rack build magic, installation, and commissioning.
  • Communicate project deadlines, specifications, and budgets to the AV install team.
  • Ensure all project documents are current and accurate, from detailed drawings to comprehensive bills of materials and change orders.
  • Maintain a steady stream of communication with clients, providing them with timely updates on issues, scope changes, schedules, and project progress.
  • Lead and inspire a team of talented employees, overseeing training and performance management.
  • Delegate responsibilities, ensuring that team members are identified, documented, and current.
  • Support the AV install staff in bringing projects to life, from installation and programming to final punch lists.
  • Ensure projects stay on track to meet client deadlines and that the current margin accurately reflects the remaining work.
